Soft for a relaxed, all-ages atmosphere, Spicy for bolder confessions. The mode filters the prompts so nothing catches anyone off-guard.
Read the statement aloud
Read the 'Never have I ever…' phrase out loud for the whole group. Everyone answers honestly: the game runs on trust.
Count fingers or points
Anyone who has done it puts a finger down (or drinks, depending on your house rules). First person to put all fingers down is out, or wins, your call.
Enable auto-remove
Turn on auto-remove so each statement only appears once per game. Keeps the surprise alive right through to the last prompt.

Alcohol-free variant
Swap the drink for a light task (give a compliment, do an impression) or just add a point to the tally. Soft mode keeps prompts easy for everyone.
Five-finger rule
Everyone starts with five fingers up. Each confession lowers one finger. First to have all fingers down must complete a dare agreed on before the game started.
Theme mini-round
Run a set of prompts on a single theme (travel, work, love) to concentrate the confessions and drive a focused conversation around one topic.
Chain it with Truth or Dare
Use Never Have I Ever to surface the group's secrets, then switch to Truth or Dare to dig deeper into whatever came out.

Can we play without alcohol?
Absolutely. The game works great with any points or dare system. Choose Soft mode for statements that suit all situations.
What's the minimum number of players?
Playable with 2, but really fun from 4 or 5 upwards: cross-confessions create a dynamic that two players alone can't replicate.
Do statements repeat?
Not if you enable auto-remove. Each statement is pulled from the pool once and gone. Surprise guaranteed until the last one.
Are there 18+ prompts by default?
Spicy prompts are for adults and require an age confirmation. In Soft mode every statement is open to all audiences.
