How to play
Start the game
Click Start. The first dilemma card appears immediately: no setup or registration required.
Read the dilemma aloud
Announce the 'Would you rather A or B?' to the group. Give everyone a moment to think before you ask for answers.
Everyone reveals their answer
Simultaneously (fist-pump 1-2-3, A or B) or one by one: choose whichever protocol fits the group.
Debate, then move on
The real value is in the 'why'. After the debate, however long it runs, hit Next for the next dilemma.
When and why
Express icebreaker
Two cards in and strangers are already debating. Great at the start of a party, a workshop or a work event.
Road trip or commute
No table, no gear, no reliable signal needed: just the screen and questions that spark hours of conversation.
Office lunch break
Neutral dilemmas break the routine without getting too personal. Perfect for colleagues who don't know each other well yet.
Party anchor game
Stack the cards to drive a full evening. The debates that follow each card often outlast the game itself.
Tips, variants & rules
The veto rule
Each player gets ONE pass per session. Use it if a dilemma totally kills the vibe or makes someone uncomfortable.
Team mode
Split players into two teams. Cards become votes: the majority wins, the losing team explains their choice to the group.
10-second timer
Cap answers at 10 seconds for extra pressure. No answer in time means a house penalty of your choosing.
Make your own dilemmas
Write down the best ones from tonight and build your own Wheelo wheel for next time: the dynamic gets even better with custom prompts.
